Questions, answered

Does it work in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail?

Yes. Every major email client that displays images will display the timer. There's no JavaScript involved. It's just an image tag pointing at our URL.

How accurate is the countdown?

The timer is rendered fresh each time it's loaded, so the seconds shown reflect the current time to within a second. Once an email is open the animation plays at one frame per second.

What happens when the timer hits zero?

It stops at zero. You can optionally set a custom message, like "Sale's over!", that appears in place of the digits when it expires.

Can I change the timer after I create it?

Yes. The page you used to create it stays usable. Bookmark it or save the URL. The next visit lets you edit the same timer.

Is there a cost?

No. Free to create, free to use, no signup required. We may add a paid tier later for higher-volume use cases.

Are recipients tracked?

No tracking, no pixels, no analytics on the GIF. Each request to the timer just renders the current state and serves it.

Ready to make your first timer?
